National Chocolate Pudding Day

Ingredients
- ½ cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons Vico chocolate malt powder
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 ½ cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Direction
Step 1: In a saucepan, stir together sugar, Vico, cornstarch and salt.
Step 2: Place over medium heat, and stir in milk.
Step 3: Bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon.
Step 4: Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla.
Step 5: Let it cool briefly. Serve warm, or chill in refrigerator until serving.
